The BioLink Project UnEarthed :)

A research exploring the patterns that connect Earth's geography to the human body.

Synopsis

Is it possible that when life emerges on a planet, it inherits the planet's internal structure and interconnected processes?

This book explores how Earth's history, evolution, and natural landmarks are mapped to the structure and growth of our own human body.

Through engaging and innovative maps and illustrations, we examine the patterns that shape our history, Earth's geography, and geology from the perspective of human biology.

Are there parallels between ancient civilizations like the Sumerians or Mesopotamians and how our own midbrain evolves? Did Silk Road traders play a similar role for Earth as certain connections in our bodies that help nutrients and hormones move around? What do Lake Victoria and your aorta have in common?

Are these patterns real or just mind-blowing coincidences?

You are invited on this unique journey that connects biology, anthropology, history, geography, and more.

The Mission

The Biolink Project seeks to explore the fundamental interconnections of Earth and deepen our understanding and appreciation for our home planet and its inhabitants through books, maps, and games.

Why is this book special?

The Biolink's first edition offers a unique and unfiltered glimpse into novel information.

This is the debut of extraordinary insights, and an exclusive opportunity to be part of something new, original, and exciting. Embracing hypotheses but leaving room for further exploration, this edition showcases the inner workings of the author's thoughts and ideas.

While future versions of this book will evolve and improve upon its formulations, the inaugural edition holds the distinction of being the first in this potentially groundbreaking series.

This may also be the only edition with a community investigation and research reward level.

Who is this book for?

The book and map set's captivating exploration of our world is designed for curious minds who welcome a fresh perspective on how we see our planet and its inhabitants.

The Structure

The book follows a model where we start with a question. Some questions come from the perspective of biology — like "how does the gut-brain axis form in embryo?" — then move into history, geography, anthropology or a relevant science discipline, look for similarities, and pose a hypothesis.

Once the hypothesis is formed, we start experimenting and draw parallels from all branches of science, gathering data for observation. Some questions form from a historical perspective, like "how did Egyptian civilization form in isolation and become one of the cradles of civilization? Why specifically in this area and this many years ago?"

The same process follows: form a hypothesis, gather observable data, experiment with different scenarios, and arrive at a conclusion — following the Scientific Method to a possible degree under circumstances.

Themes

Social Sciences

History, Geography, Anthropology, even Political Sciences and International Relations play a significant role in our journey.

Physical Sciences

Geology, Oceanology, Atmospheric and Earth sciences come into play and help us form hypotheses and draw similarities.

Biological Sciences

Our journey follows human embryonic development to explain the planetary evolution from biology's perspective.

It wasn't about proving the theory true or possible; it was about the wonder of the connections themselves and how they deepened our appreciation for our home planet.

The Founder

I'm not a scientist, philosopher, or politician — so what does a person like me do when they uncover intriguing connections between human history, geography, geology, and the inner workings of our bodies?

I got my masters degree in biomedical engineering and the topic always stayed dear to me. Back in 2018, when I first got that "huh?! no way!… wow!" moment, instead of pursuing an academic path, I embarked on a personal research journey. Night after night, I delved into books and articles, uncovering fascinating connections and encountering challenges along the way. Over time, my hypotheses began to align, and a larger picture emerged.

I started sharing my findings with friends, family, and even my kids. The captivating patterns sparked engaging discussions and lit the interest of those with an appreciation for anthropology, history, geography and more.

What I realized was that it wasn't about proving the theory true or possible; it was about the wonder of the connections themselves and how they deepened our appreciation for our home planet.

Inspired by this realization, I decided to share this story through books, maps, and possibly even games.
